Volunteer Teacher or Co-Teacher

Tuesdays or Thursdays 9:00 - 10:30 AM
Tuesdays or Thursdays 6:30 - 8:00 PM
Semester Cycles
Fall: September - December
Spring: February - May
What You Can Expect
You'd be assigned a class of students who are here from 9:00 AM -10:30 AM or 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM every Tuesday/Thursday. You'd be responsible for that class every Tuesday or Thursday for the semester (first semester: September - December / second semester: February - May) If there is a week in which you can't attend, let us know as early as possible and we'll find a substitute.

What You Can Expect
You'd come in as your schedule allows and be assigned to a classroom depending on the need for the day. You may be assisting another teacher or filling in for an absent teacher. You are not committed to attending every week.
Childcare Volunteer

What You Can Expect
Our childcare volunteers have the option of working with infants, toddlers, or elementary-age students. We ask that our volunteers make a semester commitment to come once a week, either Tuesdays or Thursdays. While no one-night volunteering looks the same, volunteers can expect to play, work on an activity, and in some cases help with homework! Childcare allows our English students to have peace of mind while taking classes that their children are safe and cared for!
